Kwadwo joined Astra from the inception of the company. He has over 10 years of experience in the Ghanaian downstream sector with stints with ZEN Petroleum and Cirrus Oil Services Limited. Prior to his involvement in this sector he had spent 6 years with JPMorgan Chase in New York and 2 years with Fidelity Bank in Ghana. He currently assists with Operational and Trading matters in Astra.
Rodger Larbi-Amoah
Operations & Logistics
Joined Astra from the very onset, with previous work experience including handling of logistics and supply chain for ZEN Petroleum, aviation with Puma Energy, Chase Petroleum and Tema offshore mooring. He is currently responsible for the handling of day to day operational issues at Astra.
Solomon Bentum
Operations & Logistics Assistant
With an in-depth understanding and experience with operational activities within the oil and gas sector (downstream), Solomon joined Astra in October 2019. His previous contributions over the last 6+ years within the sector positions him as a strategic thinker with deep business and industry insights. He is responsible for the safe delivery of quality refined petroleum products and efficient distribution to clients.
Ebenezer Otumi
Trading & Compliance Assistant
Joined Astra October 2019. Holds over 10 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics & operations management in the Oil & Gas upstream & downstream industry, having worked with ZEN Petroleum, Schlumberger Oilfields as a supply chain professional, with experience spanning through materials and equipment coordination, logistics and procurement related services. Currently serving on the trading and compliance desk for Astra Oil Services.
Myriam Kokoue
Sales & Marketing
An Oil and Gas professional with in-depth experience across bunkering, sales, marketing and business development functions. She honed her professional skills at companies such as Platon Gas Oil Ghana Limited, Oyleium Ghana Limited and was Bunkering Manager at ZEN Petroleum, prior to joining Astra.
Desmond Ogbarmey-Tettey
Financial Controller
An alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School and a chartered certified accountant, ACCA. Desmond is passionate about energy finance and is responsible for accounting and finance at Astra. Prior to joining Astra, he was a member of the finance team at ZEN Petroleum Limited for 2 years.
